Under the Housing (Wales) Act 2014, there are new legal obligations on landlords who have rental property in Wales. From November 23rd 2016, landlords operating anywhere in Wales have to comply with these obligations,  which help protects tenants and ensure rental properties meet appropriate safety standards.
